Google engineers put a great deal of time into developing, testing and maintaining the Google Search Algorithm. They are constantly tweaking the algorithm, of which supposedly exists 200-300 variables which help determine search standings in its search engine. For instance, if you type in “SEO Services Consultant” there would be over 200 variables that help determine which websites would show on the first page or two of Google.
